Summer Solstice Celebration
Take full advantage of the longest day of the year by heading to Harvard Square’s annual Summer Solstice Celebration. As many as 75 local bands are expected to perform everything from jazz to folk and rock for the annual party, which typically attracts 10,000 revelers. Meanwhile, at Harvard University, the four museums of natural history will offer free admission for the night. The university is even planning hands-on activities and additional live music from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for the astronomical event.
