Boston Underground Film Festival at Brattle St. Theater

See film in an entirely new light with the 20th iteration of this festival featuring slightly different and off-kilter films. The film festival began as an all-night film binge by founder David Kleiler and his friend Dima Ballin before the two created something formal. Dragon Lady at the A.R.T. Oberon

Family history takes on a new meaning with this show from Sara Porkalob and directed by Andrew Russell at the prestigious American Repertory Theater’s Oberon Theater. As Grandma Maria’s 75th birthday approaches, she draws one grandchild close to her to share a deep, dark secret about her Filipino gangster past. Boston National College Fair

It’s only fitting that Boston, a city with some of the best universities and colleges in the world, would host a National College Fair to give prospective local students the chance to talk with representatives from schools across the country. Climate Changed: Unearth, Model, Design

Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston)

The nonprofit, volunteer-run Independent Film Festival Boston was started in 2003 to bring emerging talent and their work to the citizens of Boston. In its 15th year, the festival continues to bring actors, producers, directors and attendees together to watch and discuss nearly 100 thought-provoking films of the 1,200 films that are submitted.
