Rolling Stone: Life and Death of Brian Jones Film Premiere

Arlington's Showplace of Entertainment presents the premiere screening of the first documentary movie to be produced about the founder and original leader of The Rolling Stones, Brian Jones. In the mid-'60s Brian Jones emerged as "the face" and poster boy of the Bohemian Swingin' London scene, topping the charts with The Rolling Stones and dating model/actress Anita Pallenberg. His excessive lifestyle and reputation as "the original bad boy of Rock & Roll" was to cost him dearly. He left the Stones for vague but well-documented reasons and in 1969, Brian was found dead at the bottom of his swimming pool, the verdict: death by misadventure. You will find no greater fan of Jones and The Rolling Stones than Danny Garcia, the stellar director of this masterpiece full of rare archival footage and rarely screened home footage. First previewed less than a month ago at the Regent Street Cinema in London, England … this is one movie Rolling Stones fans DO NOT WANT TO MISS.
