View nineteenth-century daguerreotypes by Southworth and Hawes, John Adams Whipple, and James Wallace Black, among others. See work by marine photographer N. L. Stebbins and architectural and landscape photographer Baldwin Coolidge. Marvel at the extraordinary images documenting the construction of the Boston subway in the 1890s.
