Operation Adopt a Soldier & Saint Brendan's School Presents a night of Comedy! OAS is a 501c3 ALL VOLUNTARY Organization, 100% of Proceeds Goes to Our Vets and Their Families. HEADLINER LENNY CLARKE!!! Veteran Boston stand-up comedian Lenny Clarke has an oddly calibrated act his material and his perspective is very much in an old-school Don Rickles vein, but his attitude is very much that of a quick-witted young comic. This contrast comes wrapped in a conversational, deceptively genial delivery, with just brief moments of clowning. Clarke is also unpredictable in a very good way on stage you dont know where hes going to go next. Its never the same show twice. Hes a unique and funny performer truly worth catching. NYC Review CAROLYN PLUMMER God help us. Some comics rely on the monumental events of the day or the faux pas of the rich and famous. Not Carolyn. Carolyn pulls material from the hum-drum, day-to-day monotony of the life of everyman. And she does it well. To Carolyn the monumental is easy as our existence that's so hard, yet so ridiculous. Some women look in the mirror and complain because they are not pretty enough, not rich enough, not young enough. Carolyn gives her reflection the finger. The third child of a Congregational Minister and an home maker mother; aloof? JIMMY CASH has firmly established himself as one of the most in demand feature acts in all of New England. Drawing from his wide array of life experiences such as being a single father and public school janitor, the reformed hoodlum and street tough keeps audiences roaring with nonstop laughter. Cash, who is in long term recovery himself, regularly performs on shows at sober houses for their residents and staff and more recently has produced comedy shows that raise thousands of dollars for these types of treatment facilities. Thanks to both his working class persona and remarkable on stage consistency, Jimmy has fast gained the respect and adoration of audiences, peers, and club owners
