Expanding on our popular Little Women Book Club, we are keeping the literary fun rolling this winter with the addition of an evening discussing Little Woman in Blue: A Novel of May Alcott by Jeannine Atkins. May Alcott, Louisa May Alcott's youngest sister, was an artist and the inspiration for the character of Amy March in Little Women. In Little Woman in Blue, Atkins puts May "at the center of the story she might have told about sisterhood and rivalry in an extraordinary family."
This program will meet in the Fruitlands Museum Art Gallery where art by May Alcott is currently on view in the exhibition Drawn from Life: Little Women at Fruitlands. Enjoy this exhibition before it closes on March 22nd.
